Accounting & Corporate Regulatory Authority

ACRA was formed by the enactment of the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority Act (ACRA Act). The formation of this statutory board is a result of a merger between the then Registry of Companies and Businesses (RCB), and the Public Accountants’ Board (PAB). ACRA role is to achieve synergies between monitoring of corporate compliance with disclosure requirements and the regulation of public accountants performing statutory audit.
